What's New?

Welcome to my newsletter:

The December/January, 2012 issue of the magazine "International Artists" contains an in-depth article explaining  my creative process, and presents images of several of my paintings.    I am very proud to be featured in such an outstanding international magazine.

It has been a busy year. Other recent highlights are:

I had a solo exhibition at the Gallery at Shannondell, in King of Prussia during the month of September.  On September 23rd I gave a power point presentation describing my creative process and showing images of some of my award-winning paintings.     Please see my "Calendar" for upcoming events.

I also had a painting published in the April/May 2011 edition of "International Artist" magazine.  My painting "Strawberries and Cream" was a finalist in the international competition "Flowers and Gardens".

My painting of monarchs, "The Music of the Night", received "Best in Show" at an exhibition at The Gallery at Grace in Wilmington, Delaware, in April, 2011.  I was particularly pleased with the juror's comments which were: "The Music of the Night kept drawing my eye.  I chose it as Best in Show because I was taken by the harmonious arrangement of shape and color; the strong contrast between the bright wings and the surrounding darkness; and the palpable sense that any moment these fragile visitors might simply vanish, floating away like a dream of a vision."

My painting, "Wings of the Seraphim" received "Best in Show at the Delaware Watercolor Society's fine art exhibiion at the Nassau Winery in Lewes, Delaware, in July.

Also, my painting "The Players" received the Frank Webb award for Aquamedia at the Audubon Artists 69th annual exhibition  at The Salmagudi Club in New York City in September.
